Pearl Plus water conditioner provides a chemical-free solution for the harmful effects of of scale, corrosion, bacteria and algae in both residential and small commercial applications. In addition, the Pearl Plus increases filtration efficiency via flocculation. This powerful and durable water conditioner provides a fully encapsulated printed circuit board and a power supply connection sealed with an “O” ring. The Pearl Plus fits pipes up to 38mm (1.5”) outer diameter.

    really hard water
    Purchased one of these things a month ago. I have really hard water and got sick of using a water softner. Decided to try this out and it works great. No scale buildup in the usual places. Very nice and contrary to what others say it was worth the price to not have to deal with salt and the softner.

    Works very well
    Bought the Pearl Plus about 6 months ago. I was having problems with scale because I have very hard water and got sick and tired of buying salt (and drinking salt water) so I gave the Pearl Plus a try. It was a gamble but I’m very happy with how it is preventing scale from building up. I’d rather drink a glass of water with natural calcium vs salt water.

    Surprisingly Good
    Pearl Plus was installed about two months ago and the results have been amazing. Most obvious is on the through-the-door ice and water dispenser on our fridge. Prior to the Pearl Plus there was lots of scale build-up. I cleaned the drip tray, but some scale remained. Somehow, the water that inevitably collects on the drip tray has since removed the remaining scale. Unexpected, but delighted.

    HydroFlow S38Our house is a new copper construction with water flowing through the system for about two weeks prior to installing the HydroFlow, the hardness is 250 ppm, alkalinity 240 ppm, and pH 7. After a day with the HydroFlow, the dryness of skin and itchiness after a shower has been reduced and hair seems fluffier.

    I’m a new home owner and I didn’t want a water softener. Here is what I experienced. I contacted the company to help with the installation. It was incredibly easy to install. Installation= 5 stars (my 8 year old could do it). I have seen no scale anywhere in my plumbing system= Effectiveness= 5 stars. There is no maintenance, and I didn’t see my electric bill increase at all. Maintenance = 5 stars. The only downside is this product is it is a little expensive. Cost= 4 stars (you get what you pay for) As you can see this product has earned 5 stars in my opinion.

    Very pleased
    I live in Utah and I have really hard water. I’ve always wanted to try one of these out and finally got the courage to give it a go. I’m so glad I did. I don’t see any signs of scale and my water isn’t slimy from the salt. Works better than I thought it would.,

    3 month review
    We have very hard water from a well. Thank goodness it’s the only real issue we have with our well water. I installed this on my cold pipe going into my hot water tank as per the instructions. It is definitely doing something to the scale but it’s not making it go away. Instead, we are getting a lot of this white powdery stuff appearing in our drains and aerators. I called the company and they explained that is what its supposed to do. Once it’s done descaling the system it should stop. I gave it 4 stars and will raise to 5 when it stops.

    Still shows as hard water
    I live in a hard water area and I will say that this device does keep the scale from sticking to things. It however doesn’t lower the number of solids in my water. My TDS meter still shows the same number.

    Worked perfectly
    I don’t live in an area that has ridiculously hard water. I believe we have a hardness of 125 ppm. This is why it worked so perfectly. Hard water is merely a nuisance and it’s not at a level where I need a water softener plus I don’t want to add sodium to my water. I simply want the annoying staining to stop. After 2 weeks of being installed, it did its magic. The hard scale deposits went away and the ones that were left over were easily wiped away. So glad I get to keep the healthy calcium in my water and not have the problems. Well worth the money. I had previously tried a similar device that used magnets, It did nothing to help with the problems we had.

    6 months in use
    I decided to wait to put this review up so I could see if it actually worked before I threw my 2 cents in. I have a 2 story home with a water filter. Unfortunately, the filter didn’t do anything about the hard water issues I have

    After 6 months I can say I’m very happy with the results. I’m not sure why, but I do need to change my water filters a little more frequently since installing it. Apparently, these devices must increase the filter’s ability to grab the particles out of the water.. This was a pleasant surprise since I was only expecting it to help with the scale build-up all over my home’s plumbing system, which I’m happy to report that it did.

    Update on my HydroFLOW
    I hope this finds all of you well!

    Just thought I’d give an update on my Hydroflow.

    Last December (2020) was the last time I needed to clean the coil on my boiler. I did use a different technician the last 2 times who uses an all natural product and perhaps that has made some difference. However, I think the real impact has come from the Hydroflow which over the course of several years cleaned out the pipes of accumulated scale. They must have been terrible! I have much less scale, if any which comes out of the faucets.

    I hope this continues!

    Did not soften my water
    I was expecting to see my water hardness go down. It didn’t. I did see scale disappear from my fixtures but my TDS meter still shows the same hardness. Apparently, this does remove the scale but doesn’t soften my water.

    The effects of using HydroFLOW in my apartment
    My mom has terrible water, her water is so bad I won’t drink it. She lives in an apartment, but so do I. The difference is that I have HydroFLOW installed on my piping system. After about a year of attempting to get her to visit my apartment and see the difference, she finally came for a visit this last week and could not believe how my water made her skin feel, how much better her hair feels and the difference in the taste of the water.

    There is another thing I have noticed this past year. Since I started using a HydroFLOW S38 unit, I have gone an entire year without any of the colds of flus I have been used to, showing up like clockwork every winter season. The only thing I have changed in my life is that I have this unit in my apartment.

    I also wanted to add that at work, I bring water from home, and often find myself sharing because there is such a difference between the water in my home, and the untreated water that my work place provides.

    HydroFLOW S38
    I purchased a the HydroFLOW S38 unit to reduce scale build up in our electric hot water tank. We had considerable scale build up on the heating elements and scale plugging the 3/4″ outlet drain drain hole. We also were required to replace the heating element about every four years. We researched for a solution, found the S38 and installed it in April 2013. Its been over four years, the heating element is still going strong, stays on less time than previously to heat the water up and the drain remains free of scale. Proving to be a great product. Probably should give them a 5 rating, just never saying something is perfect.

    This unit operates as described. I installed it about six months ago and have found the condition of the water to be improved, it feels better in the shower and there is no scale build up on any fixtures.     Installed ~2008, Flawless Performance Ever Since.
    Several years ago our old water heater died and I wanted to replace it with a tankless version. We are on a well with hard water and had lots of hard water spots and a perpetual ring in the toilets. I was advised that our water would quickly kill a tankless water heater without conditioning. A conventional water softener was out. The science behind Hydroflow made sense to me and I decided to take a gamble. Over ten years later my water heater seems happy and I no longer have scale on any of my fixtures.

    We live in Phoenix and our water has a ton of calcium. the calcium build up began falling off after about 10 days and was visibly gone from our shower heads and faucets after about 3 weeks. It took a few month, but even the scale on our pool tile is gone now. Our dishwasher is working well again! We might even buy another one to prevent scale for our yard watering system (it’s a separate pipe).
